Wireless charging has actually been around for years and seen in devices.However people now more mostly familiarize with it in form of QI.
This wireless charging is just what it sounds like,a way to charge your phone,tablet or other device without using any wire.Its a technology that allows charging over short distance without cables.
Its
advantage is that its quicker and easier because you don't have to plug and unplug at times.You just place your device on top of your wireless charging pad.
The key to wireless charging are electromagnetic fields used to transfer energy from charging mat to your phone through magic of electromagnetic induction.

How does wireless charging work

To use a wireless charger you place your smartphone down a charging mat.That mat is plugged in with a wire and it sits on a table :
  1. Plug the charging pad's wall charger into wall outlet.
  2. Plug the other end of the other charger into the back of the charging pad base.The indicator light on the front of the charging pad base will flash blue,greenband cyan when you plug
  3.  in.
  4. Place your device on the charging pad with the screen facing up.
  5. The charging will emit a steady blue light whem your device is chargingband steady cyan light when charging at low power.
